The homeowners loved the individuality and uniqueness of their natural stone fireplace. The stone had incredible texture and appearance and they desperately wanted to remove the smoke staining so reinstate the limestone to its original lustre.

On inspection we discussed deep cleaning the fireplace surround. It was easy to identify that even the most rigorous cleaning procedure would not remove the discolouration. For the best fireplace restoration results, we needed to sand off the fireplace.
